Things to see and do

As a green city, Saint-Cyr-sur-Loire the town revolves around many parks and gardens: the Park Perraudière the Montjoie Park, the Green Square or the Literary Park Tour. Various cultural events are regularly organized.

The Perraudière park, with an area of ​​5 hectares, is the largest city park. Designed in the late nineteenth century, it houses a mansion that is the headquarters of the city, a cultural tour, a fitness trail, a wildlife park, a pavilion for exhibitions and over 120 labeled plants.

Literary Park Tower to 2 hectares celebrates literature and authors, with a stroll in five stages, each dedicated to a particular genre: poetry, storytelling, drama, romance and philosophy.

Covering an area of ​​1 hectare, the Montjoie Park offers a walk in a garden setting and quick access to the Perraudière Park. It is located along the Avenue of the Republic, in the heart of Saint-Cyr-sur-Loire.

The Green Square is a square garden, innovative concept where devices vegetable scenes spare openings in the heart of the garden, providing an open space.

Discover the cultural heritage of the city including the Saint-Cyr church and St. Julitta facing the Loire and St. Pius X Church, attached to the parish of Our Lady of Choisille.

City Saint-Cyr-sur-Loire offers bi-weekly market on Tuesday and Friday mornings from 8am to 12.30pm. The Tuesday market is exclusively food, with a score of traders from offering their fruits, vegetables, fish, cheeses and meats. The Friday market has more than 40 exhibitors of food products, as well as flower vendors, clothing and footwear.

The national holiday of July 14 is a key event in Saint-Cyr, including fireworks and a ball on the esplanade of Children's Rights.

In early October, the event at the Heart Natur'ô Perraudière park celebrates the gardens, nature, flowers, also with a public awareness of the environmental preservation.

In December, there is the designer market at the mansion of the Tower and a key event for children, Santa has to Perraudière with company carriage rides in Santa and treats for good children.
