The Library - Museum was inaugurated in 1889 under the aegis of Charles Charbonnier, Mayor and attended by Charles Garnier, architect of the Paris Opera. Due to security concerns, the municipal museum closed in 1993.
After a thoughtful restoration, the Library - Museum and the Old Fund are reopening in 2009 as a curio cabinets. You can discover many treasures : the illuminated manuscript in Tables Fine Arts filed by the State as well as an impressive collection of stuffed animals.
Opening hours: Wednesday from 10h to 12h and 15h to 18h30 / First Saturday from 10am to 12pm.
