Inaugurated in 1864, the granary was built in tufa stone and brick at an architectural movement of the nineteenth century historicism.

Massaged his plan and four turrets show the architecture of the Loire castles. It is built on the site of the abbey church, whose frame fifteenth was reused to build this monument. The architect of the halls, Eugene Landron, also directed the slaughter of the city and restored the Church of Our Lady of Saint-Calais.
