Located Saint-Avit-Rivière, Dordogne, on the road linking Monpazier Cadouin, St. Avitus church is a beautiful religious building built in the twelfth century and today listed historic monument for its bell tower and its portal. Rebuilt many times over the centuries, it reveals in its interior beautiful carved capitals.
Comprised of four arches, the portal is a fine example of Romanesque architecture, with its beautiful intricate carvings.
