Charming little seaside resort of Seine-Maritime, on the Alabaster coast, Saint-Aubin-sur-Mer takes place between Dieppe and Saint-Valery-en-Caux, about seventy-five kilometers from Rouen and its famous cathedral. Located near Sotteville-sur-Mer, Quiberville and La Chapelle-sur-Dun, it reveals the largest sandy beach in this part of Haute-Normandie.
Property of the abbey of Saint-Wandrille in the 13th century, then property of the barony of Ferrières, the town of Saint-Aubin-sur-Mer becomes independent stronghold in the second half of the 17th. The city as we know it today is born in 1822 from the merger of the ancient cities of Saint-Aubin-sur-Mer and Epineville. Its castle was illustrated in history by becoming the property of the Marquis de Pamponne, minister of Louis XIV, in the seventeenth century.
Today, the seaside resort of Normandy attracts visitors with the charm of its architectural heritage as well as its exceptional natural landscapes that allow the practice of many leisure activities or sports.
