Commune of Dordogne located on the axis Bordeaux / Sarlat, Saint-Antoine-de-Breuilh is bordering the department of Gironde. It takes place in the heart of the Périgord Pourpre, in the urban unit of Bergerac which it is very close.
Recent, the town of Saint-Antoine-de-Breuilh was created in the first half of the nineteenth century, during the merger of the ancient villages of Saint-Aulaye and Le Breuilh. The territory has, however, experienced an ancient human occupation including the creation of a Benedictine monastery in the middle of the eleventh century.
Agricultural city for many centuries, Saint-Antoine-de-Breuilh today attracts visitors with its pleasant surroundings and its proximity to some of the most beautiful cities of Dordogne and Gironde.
