Located between Mulhouse and Gérardmer, passing by Thann, the city of Saint-Amarin is located in Alsace, in the Regional Natural Park of Ballons des Vosges.
In the 7th century, a convent was founded in the country of Saint-Amarin (formerly called Doroangus) and a village will be created gradually around. This village has been for hundreds of years, a place of passage by the Romans to access in the neighboring department (the Vosges).
Saint-Amarin remains attached to some of its traditions such as the Christmas markets and the bonfires of Saint John. He also salutes the many concerts that take place in the CAP.
Like any good tourist, no one leaves this village without having tasted a sauerkraut, trout and kougelhopf.
