Castle of Marson

Monument in Rou-Marson

Listed as a Historic Monument, Marson Castle in Rou-Marson is a former fortified castle located in the heart of a natural park. Now available for hire for the organization of weddings and other festive events, it has a magnificent reception room near the old outbuildings.

The current Château de Marson was built in the second half of the 19th century by Charles Joly-Leterme. Its originality lies in its Mediterranean-inspired swimming pool made at the request of the industrialist Henri Fricotelle, its owner at the time. Its Art Deco mosaics are the work of Isidore Odorico, a world-famous art mosaicist.
