Things to see and do

Listed as a historic monument for its facades, its roofs and its fireplace, the castle of Bouchet was built between the thirteenth and seventeenth century. This former medieval castle is originally the property of Guy Sénebaud, companion in arms of Philippe Auguste. Installed on a rocky red sandstone mound, it is built around a closed courtyard, surrounded by pits. You can still admire the building and its two towers of the thirteenth century, the great dungeon of the fourteenth century, and the small dungeon built by the English in the fifteenth century. It is open to visitors during the summer season and Heritage Days.

Built in the 15th century, the Saint-André church is now listed as an historic monument.

Several hiking trails make it possible to discover the regional nature reserve of the lands and ponds of Brenne, Massé, Foucault. You can also enjoy the Regional Natural Park of Brenne, its fauna and flora. The house located on site will allow you to learn a little more about its history and geography.
