Founded in 1961, Touroparc Zoo is a zoological park and an amusement park taking place in the town of Romanèche-Thorins, in Saône-et-Loire. Extending over a dozen hectares, it allows you to admire more than 700 animals belonging to 140 species, such as hippos, white tigers, elephants or meerkats.
On site, visitors can also enjoy several free-access attractions such as the monorail, the little train or the carousel and its wooden horses. Two museums complete the site's offer: the René Livet museum which reconstructs shops from the 1930s and the Hôtel des Mines with its collection of minerals.
Several food outlets and picnic areas are also available in the Touroparc Zoo to make the most of a day out with family or friends.
