Reignier-Ésery

Two churches can be admired in Reignier-Ésery. The first, St. Martin Reignier, dates from the nineteenth century and settled on a building of the fourteenth century. It has a beautiful Sardinian neoclassical style. Also rebuilt in the nineteenth century, the Saint-Jean-Baptiste of Ésery was built on an original building from the eleventh century. Restored in the 1980s, it also has a Sardinian neoclassical style.

The concentration of castles is important enough to Reignier-Ésery as Castle Polinge that of Boringe that of Villy, the Magny and that of Ésery.

Lovely dolmen, the Stone Fairies, according to legend, was built in one night by a little fairy.

Reignier-Ésery no shortage of entertainment throughout the year with sports competitions and cultural events.

Interesting inter-artistic improvisation festival, Rencontres de l'Instant is held annually the first weekend in May.

Every year in June, the city of Reignier-Ésery offers Artist exhibition in the city, with the installation of several works of art throughout the city.

In October, the carnival and fair atrial take place in the town.

Every five years, the city of Reignier-Ésery is crossed by the race of the Duke, a sporting event over 18 kilometers joined Geneva. It takes place in December.
