Located in the municipality of Pralognan-la-Vanoise, Savoie, the Cows Lake is a mountain lake which culminates at 2300 meters altitude on the Massif de la Vanoise. Considered one of the jewels of the Vanoise National Park, the natural site is powered by the glacier of the Grande Casse, even if it is dry part by alluvium.
Several marked hiking trails, like the GR 55 La Vanoise Tignes in Modane, make it possible to its discovery and enjoy an authentic and unspoilt area.
