Located in the town of Pourcy, in the Marne, the Montagne de Reims ecomuseum takes place in the heart of the Ardre valley. Opened in 1982 within the Regional Natural Park of the Montagne de Reims, it is also the headquarters of the Park's technical team, offering a privileged reception area and tourist information to passing visitors and locals.
The Ecomuseum of the Montagne de Reims notably hosts an exhibition "(e)cohabiting, thinking globally, acting locally" with an interactive, fun and educational journey on architecture, energy, health, biodiversity or still nature. Outside, the site also offers a space for demonstrating the most typical building materials of traditional local architecture.
Starting point for many discovery trails in the park, the ecomuseum also has an educational garden, a conservatory orchard, picnic areas, a botanical trail and even a station of bicycle inflation for cyclist hikers.
