Plumelec is a town of Morbihan in Brittany, 25 km northeast of Vannes.
Between coast of the Gulf of Morbihan and forest of Brocéliande, the vast territory of 58 square kilometers is located at the western edge of the Landes Lanvaux, a natural region formed by a long shale ridge 70 km and 5 km wide that s' Redon stretches to the east.
