Small town of Finistère, in Brittany, Plourin nestles in the heart of the country of Léon, near the sea. It is located not far from Landunvez, Plouguin and Ploudalmézeau, about a hundred kilometers from Quimper.
Inhabited since prehistoric times, as evidenced by the presence of the Kergadiou menhir, the second highest in Brittany, the territory of Plourin has developed over the centuries, particularly through livestock farming and agriculture. The arrival of a railway line in the 19th century also brought it new economic growth.
Today, this small Breton city is especially appreciated for its calm and its charming setting.
