Installed in the birthplace of King Henri IV, at Pau, the Béarnais museum is an exceptional site. In the only royal residence whose interior has remained intact, visitors can admire a mainly neo-Gothic ensemble, as well as tapestries from the 16th and 17th centuries.
The Béarnais museum is located in the south wing with its collections of popular arts and traditions. It aims to highlight the soul of Béarn through different themes.
