Private Mansion Salomon de Rothschild

Monument in Paris

Building located in the heart of the 8th district of Paris and classified as an historic monument, the mansion Salomon de Rothschild was built between 1873 and 1882 by Adelheid von Rothschild.

Over the centuries, the site has notably hosted the Library of Art and Archeology bequeathed by Jacques Doucet to the State, the Cabinet of Prints of the National Library, or the administration and exhibitions of the National Center of contemporary art.

In a neoclassical style typical of the late eighteenth century, the mansion Salomon de Rothschild today hosts major events in its lounges fully restored with elegance.
