Private Mansion of Guénégaud

Monument in Paris

Built in the middle of the 17th century by François Mansart for Jean-François de Guénégaud, then master of accounts, the hotel Guénégaud takes place at 60 rue des Archives, in the 3rd arrondissement of Paris.

Classified as an historic monument, it is the only mansion made by Mansart still visible in full. It now houses the headquarters of the House of Hunting and Nature and the private club of the same name.

Very sober in its style, it contains in particular a beautiful staircase of honor.
