Private mansion located on the island Saint-Louis, at Paris, the Comans d'Astry hotel takes place at 18 quai de Bethune. Also known as the Richelieu Hotel, the building is now listed as a Historic Monument for its front door, courtyard facade, large vestibule, and street frontage.
Built in the middle of the 17th century, the hotel of Comans d'Astry is the work of the architect Louis Le Vau for the councilor of the king who left him his name, Thomas de Comans d'Astry. It was also the property of the grand nephew of Cardinal Richelieu, Louis Francois Armand de Vignerot du Plessis.
