A private mansion located at the corner of rue de Sèvres and rue Saint-Romain, in the 6th district of Paris, the Choiseul-Praslin hotel was built in the first half of the 18th century for the Countess of Choiseul.

Listed as a Historic Monument and located in the Urban Ensemble of Paris, a site also registered, the building was acquired in the early 2000s by the Postal Bank.
