New town in the Eure in Normandy Pacy-sur-Eure takes place twenty kilometers of Evreux, near the Yvelines department. She was born on 1 January 2017 from the merger of Pacy-sur-Eure and Saint-Aquilin-de-Pacy.
Populated since Gallo-Roman times, the territory of Pacy-sur-Eure grows mainly in the Middle Ages, especially after its integration to the Duchy of Normandy in 924. She knows thereafter relatively peaceful history, taking over the centuries the pleasant pace it presents today. Full of charm, the town continues to attract visitors passing through its rich architectural and historical heritage. Difficult not to succumb to the beauty of the sites and vitality of the town.
