The seaport of Ouistreham is located on the town of the same name, in the department of Calvados, at the mouth of the Orne which flows into the Channel.
The port of Ouistreham belongs to a set of port units grouped under the name "Port of Caen-Ouistreham" and which line the channel of Caen to the sea on about ten kilometers.
In Ouistreham same, a marina is arranged including 650 rings of which 100 are reserved for the visitors. Accessible regardless of the level of the tide, with a pontoon waiting, its basin adjoins the natural reserve of the Bay of Orne.

Ouistreham has finally, on the other bank, a ferry terminal where ferries connecting the port of Caen-Ouistreham and Portsmouth in England are based.
