Castle Oricourt:

Castle built in the 12th century on the edge of the plateau. Ditches, high square towers, double walls, pits, cellars and rooms ... It is now the single best preserved medieval military architecture in Franche-Comté.

Open from 1 March to 15 November every day except Tuesday.

• The Friends of Oricourt invite you to a day of conviviality : - For your departure, a welcome will be organised at the château from 8.00 am until after 10.00 am. - You can start at a time of your choice, depending on your walking pace and the distance you choose when you register. - After a cup of coffee, you will be given a guidebook for the route you have chosen : - - A 14 km circuit passes through the villages of Oppenans, Montjustin and Velotte, Arpenans and Mont Gedry ; - - An 8 km circuit passes through Montjustin, Arpenans and Mont Gedry. - Back at the château, a picnic lunch will be served from 12.30pm. Your lunch tray will be handed to you at the reception desk, and you will be able to take advantage of an area near the dovecote with marquees and tables. - On your tray : three salads (potatoes, cabbage, carrots), ham on the bone, roast pork, roast beef, cheese and fruit tartlet. A tavern will be serving hot and cold drinks. - In the afternoon, take a guided tour of the castle (approx. 1 ? hours). - Registration only by reservation before Saturday 25 May 2023

Tours hiking loop around Oricourt, which allow access to Montjustin-and-Velotte (Romanesque and Gothic), to Aillevans (dolmen and old cemetery) and a few fountains specific to the region, through mountains and forests .
