Lake Bissorte takes place in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, in the department of Savoie, near the Franco-Italian border and the ski resort of Valfréjus, in the area of the town of Orelle.
It is an artificial lake created by the Bissorte Dam, a non-visitable structure but a very good stage or a good final destination for hiking or mountain biking. The site offers a breathtaking view of the mountains, and it is possible to fish there during opening times.
It is possible to access Lake Bissorte via the forest track of the Prec, from the EDF cable car, for a ride of about an hour, or by car. Several other marked hiking trails allow you to discover the place.
