Listed and classified as a Historic Monument, the Boisorcant manor was built during the 14th century. Considered one of the major works of manorial architecture in Ille-et-Vilaine, it now houses a museum dedicated to the sculptor Etienne-Martin.
Completely restored in the 1990s, the Boisorcant manor now reveals furniture and objects from the Middle Ages, while the park hosts a contemporary art exhibition center, the Athanor. On this three-hectare site, visitors can admire a collection of Etienne Martin's original woods, as well as monumental sculptures.
Inside the building, it is possible to admire a period fireplace with painted decoration from the 17th century. A chapel completes the ensemble in the courtyard.
