Located in one of the last prestigious 19th century villas on the Promenade des Anglais, the Villa Masséna, the Nice Museum of Art and History unveils to its visitors a scenography combining graphic arts and furniture.
In the middle of a unique interior decoration, we discover the furniture and the works of art of the Empire, with in particular the death mask of Napoleon I, the tiara of Joséphine or the works of landscape painters of the 19th century such as Joseph Fricero or Alexis Mossa.
The Museum of Art and History of Nice also has a charming historic garden adjoining the famous Négresco hotel.
