The second park in the city of Nancy in terms of surface area, the Sainte-Marie park takes place in the heart of the Blancan district, benefiting from the Remarkable Garden and Inscribed Site labels. Taking its name from the presence of hermitages consecrated to the Virgin Mary in the course of the 17th century, the site was originally owned by the Jesuits before being converted into a public park by the town hall at the beginning of the 20th century.
During a stroll in the pleasant alleys, it is possible to discover a playground with basketball hoops, pétanque courts, a Soulange magnolia labeled Remarkable Tree of France or a cycle path and monuments paying homage to Emile Coué, Victor Lemoine and Daniel Meyer.
