Common Bas-Rhin, Mundolsheim takes place between 137 and 184 meters above sea level, just a few kilometers from Strasbourg and its famous cathedral. It is located near Hoenheim, Dingsheim and Vendenheim.
Populated since prehistoric times, as evidenced by the remains found on the spot, the territory of Mundolsheim is quoted as a village proper at the beginning of the 12th century.
