The Medieval Montaner: The second weekend of July, the Friends of the Castle Montaner organizes the Medieval. For two days the castle comes alive around the iconic character of Gaston Phoebus. chivalric tournament, falconry and fencing, craft market, taverns with spicy scents and wanderings, fireworks and improvised concerts... everything to help you dive in the heart of the Middle Ages!
Throughout the summer, medieval shows are offered at Castle Montaner. Discover the crafts but also art or fighting techniques. On an evening, you can also take part in the banquet and enjoy a feast fit for a lord table.
In early November, the Friends of the Castle are organizing "The Hesta of Autona". Two days to celebrate the harvest, roasted chestnuts and Bigourdans songs...
