Located in the town of Monpazier, Dordogne, the Church of St. Dominic was built in the thirteenth century on an old Roman chapel which has retained many elements. Listed building, it has undergone several changes over the centuries, gradually taking the appearance it has today.
In particular, saw the addition of a third chapel in the fifteenth century, and the construction of a bell tower in the sixteenth. Inside, the building reveals its visitors Romanesque columns transept peaking at nearly two meters with carved capitals and beautiful late Gothic stalls. His baptismal font of the fourteenth century are also the subject of a classification as historical building.
