The village is located on Monestier-de-Clermont Township Monestier, and at an altitude of 846 m. You can welcome about 1103 inhabitants. Gresse between the valley and the Drac Valley, Monestier-de-Clermont opens Trièves. Its location on the DR 1075 made a stopover town. It is also a starting point for many walks.
