The village is located on Monestier-de-Clermont Township Monestier, and at an altitude of 846 m. You can welcome about 1103 inhabitants. Gresse between the valley and the Drac Valley, Monestier-de-Clermont opens Trièves. Its location on the DR 1075 made a stopover town. It is also a starting point for many walks. Monestier-de-Clermont owes its origin to the abbey founded around 1100. The Tennis Club is also one of the oldest in France (1938). The exploitation of the mineral spring St. Paul will last until 1953, the listed building still exists today.
