Mirande based recreation, in the Gers, also called base flood barrier is located near the course of the Baise and the city center. It consists of a 3-hectare artificial lake whose shady surroundings are landscaped and include picnic areas, children's playground and a fitness trail. The premises are suitable for walking and can be the starting point of hiking trails.
Fishing is allowed and boating. Wednesday and Saturday from September to June and every day during the summer holidays, the base also hosts the club of canoeing for walks and runs on the Baise through the lake.
Swimming, however, is prohibited.

Near the base, the center aqualudic Ludina has swimming pools and recreational facilities (water slides, river against the current). Open from mid-June to late August. Price: 4.90 and 6.10 euros (possible family pass). Information at +33 5 62 66 50 13.
