Located in the municipality of Meyrueis in Lozère, Roquedols Castle was built between the sixteenth and seventeenth century. Today listed historic monument, it houses the information center of the Cevennes National Park.
Former center of the barony of Pourcarès, the building consists of two rectangular buildings connected by a square and decorated with three round towers of origin. To the north of the castle, you can find a French garden, and further, a woodland composed especially larch, spruce and chestnut. An educational forest trail with ten steps allows visitors to better understand the history of the castle and its park Roquedols.
