Meslay-du-Maine is a commune of Mayenne in the region Pays de la Loire. It takes place about twenty kilometers from Laval and Sablé-sur-Sarthe, not far from Grez-en-Bouère.
Populated since prehistoric times, as evidenced by archaeological remains today presented at the Laval Science Museum, the region of Meslay-du-Maine developed into a parish during the 12th century. Briefly English at the time of the Hundred Years War in the fifteenth century, the city is illustrated in the chouannerie in the eighteenth century.
Today, Meslay-du-Maine is mainly appreciated for its tourist activity, in particular for its architectural heritage and its wide choice of leisure to practice in the base located in full nature. Dynamic, the town also provides locals and visitors with important cultural events.
