The Mervent leisure center, in Vendée, 10 km north-east of Fontenay-le-Comte, borders the Mervent lake, a vast 80 hectare site.
The whole is located in the heart of the largest forest in the department.
In addition to walking trails, the base has a wide variety of "nature" and sports leisure activities: whether on the lake (canoe or kayak, paddle, electric boats, boats for canoeing or fishing) or on dry land (mountain biking on trails in the forest, archery, "adventure trek" course).
These activities can be supervised by qualified instructors or accessible after payment of the rental price of the equipment.
In a bucolic setting with a preserved environment, children and adults are sure to find the activity that suits them.
Open weekends and public holidays in May, June and September and every day in July and August and the rest of the time only by reservation for groups. Price: for example, from 16 euros for an hour of canoeing (3 places) or 19 euros per day for an adult mountain bike.
