Merlines

Built in the 15th century, the Sainte-Madeleine church is worth a visit, as is the impressive 16th century village cross.

Do not miss to admire the viaducts of Chavanon and the Barricade, or the former hydroelectric dam.

Appreciated by locals and visitors alike, the Abeille pond offers children's games and picnic areas.

Several marked hiking trails allow you to discover the valleys of the Barricade and Chavanon, as well as the site of the Château de Lagarde.

In the hamlet of Gioux, it is possible to discover lime kilns.

The craft fair takes place every year on the penultimate Sunday of July.

The patronal festival of the village is held on the last weekend of July.

The town offers a ball for July 14, but also for the New Year.
