Located in the municipality of Megève at an altitude of 1,320 meters, the Golf du Mont d'Arbois opened in 1923 in the heart of the Domaine du Mont d'Arbois, a luxury resort in the city.
Designed by Henry Cotton under the orders of Edmond de Rothschild, it is today the oldest mountain golf course in France. Designed as a French garden, the site offers a breathtaking view of the Aravis for its 18 hole par 72.
In recent years, the Golf du Mont d'Arbois is now part of an ecological approach including several actions to promote animal and plant biodiversity. On site, amateur and advanced players can also enjoy a pro shop or a golf academy for training courses or courses. Several competitions also take place on the site each year.
