In the early 17th century Arnaud de Maytie, mauléonais, built this magnificent house. The architecture reflects the influence in the great medieval wooden roof and gargoyles, and the Renaissance is present in the decoration of the facade. The interior, still inhabited, contains carved fireplaces, a three-story structure, furnishings and an important exhibition of rare and old books. Visiting time 1hr. Closed Sunday and Thursday morning. Opening July 1 to September 20.
