Religious building located in the town of Mauges-sur-Loire, in Maine-et-Loire, the abbey of Saint-Florent-le-Vieil is a Benedictine abbey built in the course of the fourteenth century.
Listed as a historic monument, it has suffered many damage over the centuries, and saw his church be transformed into prison during the Vendée War. The building was partially renovated in the nineteenth century and found its two-level choir in 1890.
