Mas-d'Auvignon is located between Castera- Verduzan and Lectoure (14 km). Built on a run into is a fortified village street, the regular plan, which ends in the West a great castle of the late 13th century. Until the Revolution, the village was called Mas Fimarcon. Still large sections of wall are still visible around the village, and a portion of ditch redeveloped (remains of a moat also visible in the south).

The castle dates back to the late 13th century, built by Odo of Fimarcon second.
The church at the south end of the village, opposite the castle, outside the walls : Romanesque apse of the 12th century patronage of Saint -Martin, square bell tower of the 13th or 14th century.
A gate tower is preserved in the East at the entrance to the street, in the center of the gate tower of the castle. Remains of a second gate tower appear northwest.
