Former 15th century hospital located near the Old Port, the Hôtel-Dieu de Marseille, in the Bouches-du-Rhône, was transformed into a 5-star hotel in the early 2010s.

A first time transformed in the 18th century century on the plans of the architect of King Jacques Hardouin-Mansart de Sagonne, grandson of Jules Hardouin-Mansart, the Hôtel-Dieu de Marseille underwent a redevelopment in the nineteenth century with the extension of the left wing, the construction pavilions at the ends of the two wings and the elevation of the one-storey building.
