Mansigné

The Mansigné is a 60-hectare park with a lake covering nearly 30 hectares. It also offers a camping and a cottage village, as well as numerous water and land activities, a supervised swimming in the summer period, and fishing areas. Marked hiking trails are also accessible to appreciate the flower beds and the centenary trees. The smaller ones also have play areas, while sites have been arranged for picnic with family or friends.

Inscribed in the Historic Monuments, the Saint-Martin church dates from the 11th century. It possesses some remarkable works such as a 17th century altarpiece classified as a Historic Monument as an object, a 14th century stone statue also classified as a Madonna and Child or a 19th century iron choir fence wrought.

As you walk through Mansigné, be sure to admire the Manoir de la Guyardière or the ruins of the Fay Castle built in the 15th century. The menhir of La Brunerie, for its part, testifies to a very ancient human occupation on the territory of the commune.

The weekly market is held every Monday morning. A Christmas market is also offered at the end of the year.

In mid-August, the Art and Culture festival takes place on the leisure base and offers concerts.
