In the heart of the Aude department, Castle Malves-en-Minervois is a listed Renaissance building and listed historic monument. The set consists of a large rectangular building on three levels and a huge park. Flanked by four round towers, two of which show an older building, the castle has an inner Malves-en-Minervois beautiful.
It is possible especially to admire a grand staircase in the Italian stone and beautiful murals classified historical monument. These, representing vases of flowers and animals, are directly inspired by the Ulysses Gallery of Fontainebleau castle. On the walls, other works can be admired as the Feast of the Gods Peleus and Thetis or a scene from the Iliad.
