Town of Eure-et-Loir, in the Center region, the Loire Valley, Luisant takes place on the outskirts of Chartres and its famous cathedral. It is also located near Lucé Mainvilliers Champhol or Amilly.
Of very ancient origin, Luisant becomes a common-fledged in 1800 with the incorporation of the hamlets of La Cavée and Vauparfonds. Over the centuries it has forged the face that it is today, charming and authentic. In the late nineteenth century, this city in the west of France has distinguished itself as one of the first to own a velodrome which then hosted major sporting events.
The visitors passing through the region still continue to appreciate its modest architectural heritage as well as its incredible cultural and sporting dynamism or its proximity to one of the most beautiful cities in the area.
