The church of Lugny, built from 1824 to 1826 in the neo-classical style (according to plans by the architect Roch Fils of Mâcon), houses two remarkable works protected under the Monuments Historiques. On the one hand there is a stone altarpiece depicting Christ and the Apostles (dated 1528) and, on the other hand, a Madonna and Child of the 15th century. It is also visible since 2016 a painting executed around 1950, in Lugny same, by the artist Michel Bouillot (1929-2007), entitled "The Announcement of the Word in Mâconnais".
