Lescheraines is a village of Savoie, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, 25 km east of Aix-les-Bains and 30 km south of Annecy.
The territory of 8.1 km² belongs to the Bauges massif, in the French pre-Alps, which covers part of the two Savoyard departments.
Crossed by the Cheran, 579 m above sea level, the town culminates at 1305 m at the Châtelard.
Benefiting from a favorable strategic situation, at the junction of several valleys, Lescheraines formed of a village and several hamlets belongs under the Old regime to seigneuries who build strong houses to control the roads and ensure the commercial development of the city.
Agricultural activity based on dairy farming and cheese production is now complemented by wood crafts and tourism.

Beach side, besides the idleness, one can have tennis courts (to book +33 4 79 63 30 31), play areas for children, a multi-sports ground, a volleyball court, a sports course and a bowling alley.
Also note that a walking trail accessible to people with reduced mobility has been built around the lake.
