Located in the municipality of Les Trois-Îlets, in south-west Martinique, Le Bout Headland and Mitan Cove are among the island's most popular tourist destinations. A seaside resort with a lively atmosphere, Le Bout Headland attracts not only holidaymakers coming to enjoy its large hotels, but also passing tourists who come to stroll along the marina quays. Popular with yacht owners, the latter has many bars and restaurants with varied menus. Not far from there, the Creole Village resembling a miniature Disneyland will delight shopping fans with its boutiques and café terraces.

Heading on towards the town of Les Trois-Îlets, you simply must stop by Mitan Cove's famous beach! Enjoying a superb view of Fort-de-France Bay, this beautiful beach of golden sand and clear waters, lined with restaurant terraces, is surely one of the liveliest beaches in all of Martinique. In fact it's not unusual to see young people enjoying themselves there to the sound of zouk or raga music until late in the evening… Be careful though, the beach at Mitan Cove doesn't have much shade so watch out for sunburn.
