Church located near the pedestrian streets of the city center of Sables d'Olonne, listed building since 1993.
It was built on the site of the Rosary Chapel, built in the thirteenth century and dependent Parish d'Olonne, the church's construction began in 1646.
the seventeenth century Les Sables-d'Olonne becomes a great cod-fishing port and the locals ask Richelieu, bishop of Luzon, to create and build a parish a church. In 1646 the first stone was laid. The church keeps a Gothic appearance, but the western façade evokes the Renaissance. One of the rare examples of the Counter-Reformation.
The church is open daily from 9am to 12pm and from 14h30 to 19h.
