The modern and contemporary art museum is housed in the former priory of Benedictine Holy Cross, founded in 1622.
On more than 2500m² and in very different spaces, its bright temporary exhibition room to its seventeenth attic upturned boat hull, the museum presents the works of Gaston and Victor Brauner Chaissac.
For its historical part, the collection includes major works by Albert Marquet, Jean Dubuffet, Alberto Magnelli, Max Beckmann.
In its logical exhibition of contemporary artists, the museum has collected works by Georg Baselitz, Robert Combas, Denis Laget, Christian Jaccard.
