Jazz en pic Saint-Loup - Sophie Alour + Laurent Bardainne & Tigre d’eau Douce
- On 7 june 2024
- Once again, with stars in their eyes, Jazz à Junas and Assosquipic join forces to offer one of the first festivals of the summer under the benevolent and inspiring gaze of the Grand Pic Saint-Loup. - --- - Sophie alour ? Le Temps Virtuose ? - Sophie Alour : saxophone, Pierre Perchaud : guitar, Guillaume Latil : cello, Anne Paceo : drums - Renowned saxophonist Sophie Alour delivers an unforgettable concert performance with her unique blend of contemporary jazz and breathtaking improvisation. Her unparalleled talent is expressed through perfectly mastered solos and the fluid dialogue she maintains with her group of exceptional musicians. Every Sophie Alour concert captivates the audience with her creativity and technicality, and is a must-see for any jazz fan keen to discover an authentic and inspired artist. - From hard rock to baroque, from pop to Malian accents, she twists and mixes the codes of all these musical styles with poetry and humor. Between the acoustic guitar of Pierre Perchaud and the cello sound of Guillaume Latil, who offers the possibility of singing in two voices with the tenor saxophone whose tessitura he shares, Sophie Alour greedily seizes the constraint imposed by this formation, with the addition of the breathtaking Anne Paceo, and turns it into a writing tool. - --- - Laurent bardainne & tigre D ? eau douce ? Eden Beach Club ? - Laurent Bardainne : saxophone, Philippe Gleize : drums, Arnaud Moulin : keyboards, Fabe Beaurel Bambi : percussion, Sylvain Daniel : double bass and bass, Laetitia N ? diaye : vocals/keyboards - It's hard to say how long the journey will last. Hours, days, maybe more. One thing is certain : this is the terminus. The final port of call where everyone ends up one day or another. It's like an eternity spent wading through vast expanses of salt water, and then, suddenly, a sign of life in the distance. Abundant flora adorns a background from which a white expanse stands out in striking contrast. - The eden beach club sign on the pediment of the small log and plank building confirms that this place, accessible only by sea, is indeed a paradise. - Geographical or musical, there is no map to pinpoint the location. The only one available is the one detailing the titles of this infinite and dreamy playlist, proposed by Laurent Bardainne and Tigre d ? Eau Douce. - --- - We are also continuing our in-depth work with children from schools in Les Matelles, Saint Jean de Cuculles and Le Triadou, as well as those from the Saint Mathieu de Tréviers media library, to help them share and discover the jazz music we defend and which we never cease to affirm as a music of encounters and daring. - Come and experience these wonderful moments with us. - See you soon at the 23rd edition of Jazz au Pic Saint Loup !
